CCH GIS Data Dictionary |
Landsat Image of Oahu - this image is intended as a visual cartographic backdrop. It has been down-sampled past the original 30 meter grid cell size for performance reasons. Landsat 7 ETM (enhanced thematic mapper) is a polar orbiting 8 band multispectral satellite-borne sensor. The ETM+ instrument provides image data from eight spectral bands. The spatial resolution is 30 meters for the visible and near-infrared (bands 1-5 and 7). For more details see Metadata link. |

NOTES: This image was downloaded from the Pacific Disaster Center (PDC) in 2002 as an unregistered tiff. The image was registered to the island of Oahu using coast and streets in State Plane, Zone 3, Feet, Old Hawaiian Datum. It was projected to Nad 83 Harn in 2007 and imported into the SDE warehouse. |
