| NOTES: OP GIS This file was created by OP GIS by merging the coast_n83 polygon file with the islets_n83 polygon file from the State of Hawaii, Office of Planning using the union tool in ESRI's ArcGIS 9.1. A three nautical mile buffer was applied using the buffer tool in ArcGIS 9.1 then buffered polygons were merged. The coast_n83 and islets_n83 polygons were clipped using the erase tool in ArcInfo 9.1. Individual polygon areas were calculated using the calculate areas tool within ArvGIS 9.1. Projection is UTM Zone 4, and datum is NAD 83. File was completed in December, 2006. CCH GIS Oahu Island extracted. Projected to State Plane, Oahu Zone 3, Feet, Nad 83 Harn . |
