Search for Features

This application allows you to search and find features of interest to you. See the options under the Locate menu option to see what types of searches are available to you.

Search tasks

The website enables you to search one or more layers for text that you enter, to find an address, or to search for places using a Web database.

  1. The search or find task can be displayed by rolling you mouse over Search in the menu area and clicking on a feature to search.
  2. The search or find task opens in a new dialog window within the mapping application. Some examples of possible tasks are shown below. This dialog window may be moved, collapsed, and closed. See Getting Started for details on using moveable windows.

  3. Enter text you want to search for in the input boxes of the task window. The Property Address by TMK and Plat map searches allow for partial searches.
  4. Click the dialog submit button (Find, etc.) to start the search.
  5. The Results section opens to display results of the search.
  6. The example below shows one possible result of a search using Find.
