Abstract:: Data originated from the National Inventory of Dams (State Download site). Dams are classified in accordance with size and hazard potential in order to formulate a priority basis for selecting dams to be included in the inspection program and also provide compatibility between guideline requirements and involved risks. Classification is based on size impoundement capacity and hazard potential.
Purpose: to reference a dam site and access it's information quickly
