There are many factors that effect the accuracy of the address scrubbing and geocoding process. These are preliminary results based on these processes and the results are not intended to replace or supercede a flood hazard determination as required by the National Flood Insurance Reform Act of 1994.

There are other factors that may affect the flood status of a property, such as elevation. To learn more, please consult the National Flood Insurance Program website which is part of the Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR).

(DLNR has been designated as the State Coordinating Agency responsible for assisting the coordination of the program between the Federal and County agencies in Hawaii.)
